German

German is one of the major languages of the world. It is the most spoken native language within the European Union. 

German is a West Germanic language mainly spoken in Western Europe and Central Europe. It is the most widely spoken and official or co-official language in GermanyAustriaSwitzerlandLiechtenstein, and the Italian province of South Tyrol. It is also an official language of Luxembourg and Belgium, as well as a recognized national language in Namibia.

It is most similar to other languages within the West Germanic language branch, and including Many Countries.

High German (Hochdeutsch)

Old High German, And a group of dialects for which there was no standard literary language, was spoken until about 1100 in the highlands of southern Germany. 

Low German(Plattdeutsch)

Low German, with no single modern literary standard, is the spoken language of the lowlands of northern Germany. It developed from Old Saxon and the Middle Low German speech of the citizens of the Hanseatic League.

Although the numerous Low German dialects are still spoken in the homes of northern Germany and Also a small amount of literature is written in them, no standard Low Language literary or administrative language exists.

Frisian language

 West Germanic language most closely related to English. And , Although Frisian  formerly spoken from what is now the province of Noord-Holland (North Holland) in the Netherlands.

Written records date from the end of the 13th century and are in Old Frisian, Also a stage of the language that lasted until the late 16th century. After that Old Frisian shows all the features that distinguish English and Frisian from the other Germanic languages.
